Transportation
The most common way to reach Joshua Tree National Park is by car. The park has three main entrances: the West Entrance near Joshua Tree Village, the North Entrance near Twentynine Palms, and the South Entrance near Interstate 10. There is no public transportation directly into the park. From Los Angeles, take Interstate 10 east to Highway 62 (Twentynine Palms Highway). Follow Highway 62 to either the North Entrance (near Twentynine Palms) or continue to Joshua Tree Village for the West Entrance.
